R Stevens, Small Correction to your getting it Right... Asia opens first, then Europe and then the DOW.... See the differance, by the time we open both of them have already been going(up or down) and the news is second guessing what the DOW will do...it usually follows what the NEWS say they think it will do!!!

triple witching used to have a big effect
but more and more the unwinding is taking place the week before
however with what happened last week with the big drops...
you may see more movement this week...

the option guru is using OEX 545 and 525 as the numbers that will cause a movement due to arbitraging etc..

btw, SPX options expire tomorrow
