These are the type of posts we need to put on this thread. It's going to get heated here over the next couple of days...the party crashers are here.....Oh and BTW I'll have to look for the spices....after 9 years in Texas I haven't found a decent fajita seasoning yet....I forgot what I used and I have been looking for years...everywhere but haven't come across the brand yet and keep buying imitation crapola...plus skirt steak outside of Texas is robbery!

Interesting site, thanks for the article Swill99. I see that John Christensen and W. Arthur Lindsay were personal investors as well. And of course there is also Joe Gort. I also found there:

Pitts and Spitts set to smoke in national market

A year after going public, Houston-based Pitts and Spitts of Texas Inc. is fired up about getting products distributed nationally and delving into new lines.

The company is stocking an order for $272,000 worth of stainless steel smokers from international retailer Barbecues Galore. As a result, the high-end smokers will be sold in 35 Barbecues Galore units across the United States.

Joe Gort, a Pitts and Spitts spokesman, says the deal equates to about $5.2 million in revenue for the once closely held company.

"Not bad for new kids on the block," says Gort.

Initially, Pitts and Spitts sold products in only six Barbecues Galore stores, primarily in California. Gort says additional orders are expected to follow from the other 100 stores that Barbecues Galore operates worldwide.

The order, he says, represents the first step of the Pitts and Spitts national marketing effort.

The company also plans to introduce a new line of grills to cater to the lower end of the market, new territory altogether for the 23-year-old company. The portable grills will retail for about $24.

Pitts and Spitts is traded over-the-counter.
