I had a limit order today at 4.5, watched the ask go up to 5.5 by the time I finished placing the order and decided to leave it as is.

If I'd waited just a little bit longer.....but the $2.4062 was probably on the bid so $3-$3.50 is the cheapest one could buy assuming a market order was placed. I got filled at $4.50.

[Recounting his MIDLP, and recomputing his AMSC with dividend for all MIDLP or dividend for MIDLP on 5/29/98.]

Speaking of AMSC (with the dividend) .3437 (bid) * 52.5 common/MIDLP = $18.04.

Yep that's right, even if you paid $18 for 1 MIDLP one would still break-even whenever the MIDLP convert if the common is at $.3437. Gotta love the safety-net the MIDLP provides, although if one sold the MIDLP they would lose ($18-$3.5) = $14.50/share.

Those people that sold the MIDLP are idiots. If somebody who sold is reading this, I'm not calling you an idiot (but rather the others that sold).
