going to be a bad quarter anyway

why do you say that Sam? I have not heard anyone else post to that
effect. What is your estimate for earnings?

Paul,

I am not suggesting that it will be a bad quarter. I simply supposed the delay in Delphi could be as a result of a desire to transfer revenue to a more positive quarter in the future. I really have no idea.

What I do know, however, is that this board has been virtually silent on revenue and earnings predictions for this quarter. In addition, Inprise executives have also said little about contracts and sales this quarter. While I agree with Ghassen?? that Inprise has been good in the past about preannouncing negative results, this does not mean the company would preannounce results that fall a little short of predictions.

I really don't like the lack of fundamental news this quarter. TA is simply a predictor of probably short-term market movement, as well as the extent of the movement. In the long run, stocks move on fundamentals, and fundamentals for Inprise are currently unknown to me. I don't really know what to expect this quarter.
