It was nice to see the stock come back from its lows today. In the end it wasn't as bad as I'd feared. The announcement of a stock buyback program may help, though most of these announcements don't actually commit the company to any purchases. The benefit is mostly psychological, but it might help and couldn't hurt.
Though volume was considerably above average, it wasn't huge. Hopefully, that means big investors are deciding to hang tough. If not, and we return to the low volume trading pattern, the stock may be vulnerable whenever blocks of shares are put on the market.
good luck,
Baird

It also means something else.

It means that the stock was overvalued at previous prices. I doubt they'll pay more than 20-24. I bought back in before the repurchase announcement because it's selling at 2.0x book value.

Yeah, I read this release with a great deal of interest the day it
came out and felt that it was the first real positive statement by
RSYS in some time. Even if it is only psychological and RSYS has no
real intentions of buying much stock back, it was a good move on Myers'
part.

"Way to go, Glenn!!! Now maybe you will continute those talks with
Gates and finally convince him to invest, say, 1/51 of that wad he's
carrying around!"

If that doesn't give RSYS stock a boost.......
