Philip,

Philip,

It's not your place to tell me what I can or cannot say to Risk. If you read the thread carefully you surely know that he attacked me first and I was merely responding to him in the fashion in which he insulted me. Actually, my comments were generally above the level of his insults.

I find it interesting that you find it necessary and appropriate to criticize my remarks to Risk, who started the confrontation, rather than criticizing him for insulting me with various unnecessary and undignified remarks. Perhaps it was because his comments were heavily in your favor, huh?

It is also curious that you have posted several messages to the board this afternoon but never responded to my earlier question to you whether or not you wished me to close my account with you.

It is also worth noting that you have never once expressed any concern or sympathy to me for any misunderstanding, error or omission, mistake, or otherwise unfortunate event that might have taken place with regard to my trading account with your firm. Not one kind word to me regarding anything that may have taken place, just a comment that I shouldn't be rude to Risk who, as we can all see, was extremely rude to me in the first place.

You may have intended your remarks for both of us, but it strikes me as ironic that you deliberately chose to direct them to me personally rather than to Risk, the initiator of the rude personal comments. It is also disturbing, to me, at least, that you seem to now feel the need and authority to tell us all what to post here and what to not post, what to read in our spare time, and so forth. Are you a believer in censorship? You never showed any interest in censoring my posts back when I was praising you and your company. Why now? What has changed? What is different? Free speech is okay when it makes you look good, not when the other side of the story is told?

I have called your company on various occasions to discuss my problems privately rather than here. You will also notice that, on this thread, I have on many times avoided responding to M.B. clients who come here and try to get me to say something derogatory about your company or product. I have always resisted the opportunity to do so, mostly in respect for your and for our friendship.

All my posts today resulted from your original message to me this morning suggesting that other posts by Brentsky and myself were mere "unfounded accusations." I responded to you in my own defense, politely explaining the basis for my remarks. It is indeed unfortunate, however, that, rather than possibly contact me directly to resolve the unfortunate matter, you have chosen to continue our rather heated exchange in this public forum. I think it was a mistake and not the way I would have chosen for the situation to be resolved.

Philip,

Would you be interested in setting me up with your software for a month in 'demo' mode so I can evaluate it against other offerings for internet trading?

As head trader at our firm, 1) you know I have no 'real' need outside of evaluating the software as asked by many posters and 2) the compliance of doing trades away would be too great.

I thought someone mentioned a demo mode.
Let me know.
