MSB,
Which commodities and which company's do you like?

I really like the energy complex. As far as other commodities and specific companies I'm still doing my research. Yesterday's actions were in the category of distant thunder. Inflation is not going to come roaring out of the box but when it comes it is going to be around a while. We will have time over the next few weeks and months to see what kind of policy mix gets chosen. I'm going to use that time to do a little research on some specific companies. I'll check Rio Tinto and would be interested in any one else's ideas. I've got this thread bookmarked so we can keep the conversation up as part of the discussion of the gold markets if others are interested.

As far as 30 year bonds, I have been very bullish of bonds and long for some time. In the very short term I believe there is still a very bullish argument for bonds and believe we will see yields lower. As I said above, I believe it will take time for inflation to manifest itself. Until then the pro bond argument is compelling.
