Nice to see some of the past attendees still hanging in there. Can't help but feel good for those that hung in there. Sandisk finally came through even in the worst of times. Today's positive market movement also helped no doubt. Good luck and hope for many more days like this. I agree Rex that some of the upward movement was also short covering related. I noticed in the AM that when the stock started to move up the number of shares per trade was very high and then all of a sudden, a ton of small volume trades came through to push the stock up further. I suspect shorts covering but can't confirm it. In the end, what counts is Sandisk is UP!

Jerome, you may want to have a long term long position... in addition to your trading stock.

The thing is, I personally won't take a long term position since I must pay the tuiton for my MBA before September.

The portfolios I manage are much less traded and are long SNDK.

I would expect a nice position in puts would be suitable at this time.

Options expiration is tomorrow.

What do you guys think of SanDisk PR activity?

Earnings are near. This could be an attempt to support the stock and it works. But it could be also an attempt to lift the price in advance of bad news...like the 2Q is ok at 19c but 3Q and 4Q will likely be flat as a result of increased competition...

any other idea?
