Philip,

I know you replied to me earlier today. I was merely pointing out some interesting and disappointing things about your reply.

Sadly, rather than demonstrate any customer service skills or ability to handle public relations, you continue to insult me by with such a generalization that sometimes I do not listen to what you say. Quite the contrary, Philip, I listen very well. It is you and your people who often do not do what they say they will do when they say they will do it.

It is you who has the problem. And when you address your post to me about what I can or cannot say on the thread, yes, I do take it personally. Tell me you meant it for someone other than me.

It is so funny, though. All this probably started because your people told me my software was shipped last Monday and then you told me today on this thread that it was shipped this Monday instead. I was merely pointing out the contradiction. Tell me that I am wrong when I say I was formally and officially told (guaranteed) by Mark Stryker last Wednesday that my software had been shipped two days earlier. Otherwise, please show some respect and try to keep your accusations to a minimum.

It is important to note that, rather than quickly and privately handling the problem you and I now seem to have, you prefer to continue our heated exchanges here, wasting everyone else's time and insulting me, your client. Is this good public relations? No. I don't think so.

Bill

The good thing about not being a full-time daytrader yet, is I missed the RUMBLE. Nice ringside call, Darren; Howard Cossell would be jealous.

On a more serious note. I did not intend for my question to Bill to turn into this mess. I apologize for the furor it has created. I only asked Bill if the new version was available or if it was hype. I should have sent that question as a Private Message (as I'm sure the authors of other messages today wish they had done).

I do intend to sign with Cybertrader. I know Bill is unhappy, but I still think it has the most going for it. However, I think many of these messages would not occur if people were face to face. I've noticed that these threads (with their faceless computers) allow people to respond in ways they normally would not. Maybe a few lessons learned?.......

1. Make sure inflammatory remarks or (on my part) questions which may create furor are asked in a private message.

2. These pissing contests are great for the competition; an MB trader has posted it all over the SI threads. I don't think this was Bill or Phil's intention. P.S. Shame on those who use these arguments to make one product look better than another!

3. I learned that in the future I should first call the company (in this case Cyber) with questions that are really important, as opposed to asking here first.

4. Business 101 - Don't argue with or possibly create a public argument with an unhappy customer. Nobody wins!

Not every customer is going to be happy. I've worked for the biggest software company and understand the inherent issues over development and new versions. This is an emerging industry and growth pains will be there. But, Cybertrader, IMHO, has an excellent chance at shaping the future.

I'm ready to kick some MM butt!
