Jeff said, "Muffy, I'm too much of a gentleman to take advantage of you, much as I'd like to." He sounded depressed.

"SBJ slipped you some acid and you've been tripping. This has all been a hallucination. This acid makes you think the women are strong, the men are good looking, and all the children are above average."

Muffy was confused. Could it be true? Was all of this just a hallucination? It was odd that all of the men she had encountered appeared so studly. But she couldn't get that one image out of her mind....

The lurker, who looked most familiar to Muffy, and who made her think, momentarily and oddly, of fishnet panty hose, was addressing Jeffrey S. Mitchell. Muffy had thought that TED, of whom the lurker put her in mind, was away someplace the hell or other, but perhaps not, you know how rumors are. He went on to say, "Sir, it is up to you now not only to come to the assistance of this poor lady, who, in spite of the claims of those who exist in a state of denial, and who like always to look on the bright side of things, is still in dire straits-- it is up to you, Sir, to devise instructions that will capture the interest of those who wait and watch. Speak, Mr. Mitchell, speak!"
