Rob Glaser to speak at "Plug-In '98" While going through some of the info on Realnetworks' home page, I found this site. It has RNWK's CEO scheduled to be a Keynote Speaker. The show will be on July 15 & 16 in New York. This will coincide again with the Intel New York Music Festival. I think one of the recent press releases said that RNWK's technology will be used to broadcast some of the events. From looking at when RNWK has announced earnings in the past, this should be just a couple of days before RNWK gives 2nd 1/4 '98's earnings report. I do a lot of searching for info on the 'net and I am impressed at the scope of the presence of Realplayer technology being used on various sites. I have also been impressed with the quality of video using Realplayer over my sub-56k line when compared to poorer quality netshow videos. I am a teacher from a small town in Kansas and I am excited about the possible uses of this technology for my high school social science students.
