Roger, I agree with Les about the software stocks and the internets. I feel we may have one last run to the peak, but we could just sit in a trading range for another month or two. If this is the case you could make a lot of money by just trading the range. 1994 was a range bound market before the up move. We could end this bull with the same phenomena. So many are comparing this market to 29 or 87 and looking for a crash. Maybe we will just slip slowly into the sunset.

The stocks that will win are the software and internet & S&P (because of the dumb 405K inflows into indexes). The broader market is leaking profusely because companies who aren't performing are being exited. Dell and Soft aren't performing, but they are "designer" stocks and get the money anyway. I think we top in late summer.

Hardware stocks are probably limited to a trading range until reality bites. I think Intel will trade around the 65-70 range for a while.

But what do I know?
