Just stirring up the snakes, as I commented earlier I was not sure the celeron style chip could be shoehorned into the socket 7 pinnage available, however it does reveal that a socket is quite capable of running a Pentium II and I expect that good opposed(1 on one side of PCB and the other on the other side of PCB) socket design would also allow the cache to be close enough to run at 500 MHZ
I expect the next step will be to announce a cache added 470 socket version.

I have never heard of a k6-me2? Are you on this planet.
If Intel lacks the 3D how can a k6 be a me too? Sounds like extended sour grapes here.
