Don't you just get sick of this poo-poohing of the issue, James?? I thought "honest taxpayer" was an oxymoron?? I know we pay taxes only because we know we have to. I know many other people out there who I imagine have few qualms about putting off their tax burden for a year....:0) This economist Wyss sounds rather suspect to me. While I would agree that Y2K will result in a major realignment of economic resources to dealing with the problem, he really doesn't seem to grasp what is at stake overseas and domestically should the problem NOT be fixed in time. Btw, anyone notice how positive Greenspan has been on the economy?? Wasn't he the same guy who was talking about irrational exuberance several thousand Dow points ago WITHOUT Japan heading into DEPRESSION and taking the rest of Asia with it?? Oh well... what do I know?? Only what I read I guess.... :0) Regards, Ron
