Another note I forgot to add. Word in the Valley is that AMD Design Engineers are jumping ship in droves. AMD doesn't have the money to pay competative salaries and AMD stock options speak for themselves. (Only Jerry makes out) The K7 is in major trouble.

I'm shocked that you would even take a chance on a stock that you think is such a dud. <G> Sure, there are a lot of rumors flipping around about AMDs yield woes. Some of them are rumors some are true but misinterpreted. In the final analysis, the proof of the pudding is in the eating. Even you know that AMD is gonna get the yields up. I think they may have done that already. Ya buys your stock and ya takes your chances. Personally I own over 40 stocks but I like to hang around here because it's darn fascinating...especially the manufacture of microprocessors not to mention the zealotry of those pro-Intel vs pro-AMD vs Pro-Cyrix.
As far as owning AMD, welcome aboard. It's going to be a wild ride.
