Brad: Re: "You would think people had better things to do than pass stories around the camp fire"

Agreed. In fact, I've been thinking about creating a commission to look into the postings of several SI personalities. It appears that many of them are spending their time posting on threads in which they own no stock. Indeed, some of the threads deal with subject matter not even related to stocks! Now, you and I know that it would be ridiculous to spend so much time for no reason.

I mean, how are these people getting compensated? Certainly not by stock profits. Maybe by some well organized shorting cartel? Or, some evil MM's (and I don't mean Muffy Murphy, though I'm sure she could tell some stories about convoluted interrelated contrapositive happenings herself).

Goodness knows that these foul posters have something up their sleeves.

I'm curious ... would you be interested in running the FBN-FreeLoader commission? Put an end to these freeloading posters, so we bonafide stockholders can go about the business of hyping our stocks without their input.

Let me know,

TED

I hear there have been some real lapses in security. Several memos about someone named Muffy were found near the FBN shredder - unshredded. I think an independent Y2K security audit is in order.
