Thank you very much Fieb...

Here's the Cube excerpt

C-Cube Microsystems
Who's C-Cube? When you tell a typical U.S. consumer that they build video codecs that go into DirecTV set-tops, they get it. But if you go on to explain that their biggest profits have come from similar codecs that go inside VideoCD players, they'll draw a blank. Video what? Is that like DVD? Although the MPEG 1-based VideoCD format was a flop in the States, it's been a hit in the Far East. Uh, oh, does that mean C-Cube will catch the Asian Flu? Not to worry-C-Cube just introduced its low-power ZiVA DVD decoder, which is appearing in Toshiba Tecra notebooks and Dell Dimension PCs. In '96, C-Cube bought DiviCom, which sells digital video head-end equipment. C-Cube and DiviCom are participating in Americast's terrestrial wireless digital television trial in New Orleans, providing 160 digital channels.
