Green Oasis To Spend $500,000 For Added S.C. Plant Capacity

Dow Jones Newswires

CHARLESTON, S.C. -- Green Oasis Environmental
Inc. (GRNO) will raise the used oil input capacity of its
Charleston, S.C. waste oil processing plant to 1,000
gallons an hour.

In a press release Wednesday, the company said the
plant was permitted to operate at 250 gallons an hour
and designed to operate at 400 gallons an hour.

The company said the South Carolina Department of
Health and Environmental Control's Air Quality Bureau
approved its permit applications and construction
permits for the planned modifications, which are
estimated to cost $500,000.

Green Oasis said the modifications, which include a
larger distillation column, reflux pumps, a larger thermal
oxidizer and additional heat exchanger tubes, haven't
been scheduled due to its current capital position.

In an April press release, the company said it
temporarily suspended operations at the Charleston
plant, due to low rack prices for diesel fuel and capacity
limits.

The company holds a 49% interest in the plant, and is
the general partner of GOE Plant Partnership I L.P.,
which owns the processing plant.

GOE Plant is a partnership Green Oasis formed to hold
its EnviroEconomics processing unit and ancillary
equipment.

Green Oasis produces marketable fuels from waste oils,
and makes equipment.
