The 2$ Hooker in the microprocessor business is Intel, not AMD

They kept Packard-Bell afloat in exchange for loyalty. Now loyalty is out and it's "just business". Intel is getting their just desserts for supporting such a notably poor business risk. And if it weren't for NEC, Packard Bell would just go out of business anyway.

Andy Grove should stand tall and tell the world what a lousy outfit Packard Bell is.... and how we will all be better off without them .... sooner rather than later if the yen doesn't stage a major comeback. Somehow, I doubt he will do this. Packard Bell's musings about Socket 7 are interesting in light of Cyrix's supposed direction towards Slot 1. 10% never get the word! (It used to be 20%)
