Chip, VC has not released any sales info, however the stock did track the SOX index today, the ratio was not in sync though. And I did find this, not sure what it means, maybe you know? Mactell Corp. last week added a new 2-D and 3-D graphics accelerator to its product line. Meanwhile, Griffin Technology shipped a low-cost adapter for 3Dfx Interactive cards. Mactell's $399 Vision3D Pro II Lite is powered by the Ticket to Ride processor from Number Nine Visual Technology Corp. It boasts the same features and performance as Mactell's Vision3D Pro II card, but with a maximum true-color resolution of 1,280 by 1,024 pixels. (The Vision3D Pro II can produce true-color resolutions up to 1,920 by 1,080 pixels.) The Vision3D Pro II Lite, with 8 Mbytes of Window RAM, supports QuickDraw 3D RAVE (Rendering Acceleration Virtual Engine), as well as Mac-based OpenGL hardware acceleration. It accelerates MPEG, QuickTime and QuickDraw video. Griffin also last week released NE3D, a $15 adapter that it said enables PCI-based Macs to use Windows-based 3Dfx accelerators with no loss of video quality.
