>>Would you feel better if I did not get my dividends and you did. What a selfish little man you are. This one post of yours speaks volumes of the kind of person you are.<< ... People who sold the MIDLP will hate me for saying this, but the people that deserve the dividend (IMO) are the long term investors that bought before the dividend announcment, after it, and thru the rough times (of the near future) including yesterday and today. .... I guess wanting the long-term investors (including myself) to benefit is selfish. If it's at the expense of short-term investors/daytraders (who just bought the MIDLP for the dividend and then selling it shortly thereafter) figuring that they could get something for nothing (even if sold for a slight loss), I really hope that they don't get the dividend. [I think you fall into this category. I could be wrong, but thats what I think.] If it's at the expense of people who sold the MIDLP because of recent events (ie. thinking that the situation was completely hopeless. Better get out now while I don't lose even more money) then the dividend wouldn't be of much value to them. (as in. gee I just sold MIDLP and now I got more MIDLP). I'm more symphathetic to this situation, but it is not something a long-term investor would do. >>I could be wrong, but I am going to take a wild guess and say you have the security of a regular paycheck, you are kinda lazy, not very active, have a boss that tells you what to do every day, make less than six figures and your kinda pissed off about it and you think you would feel better if you gained and someone else lost. And you probably have a really strong right hand, due to the fact your a geek and can't get a girlfriend. Nice life, loser. << I don't know what all this is about. I don't begrudge rich people for being rich (they earned or inherited it) because one day I will be one, but there is nothing worse than a snobby rich person. I don't know where you live, but less than 5% (or some other small percent) of the US population makes a six-figure salary. Yes I work full-time as a programer/analyst and it's nice having a regular paycheck (to pay off student loans, car, etc.). For somebody 3 years out of college, growing up in middle-class America, and making more money than the average family I am doing damn good. Am I making 6 figures?? Not yet, but I will. Some of the best programmers I have ever met are lazy (why reinvent the wheel or code, when you can reuse it.) I could go on but what's the point. Think what you will, I don't care. Kurt
