Bill: No I'm not short the market, I seldom short, very seldom,
Some times I buy a put on a stock or two. Have NEVER shorted a
stock naked, but did experiment with shorting the SPY, that was
a waste of time and effort.

I try to buy dips, bottoms are easier to call than tops.
People that focus on shorting are born losers.
I bought foreign yesterday, and still hold gold, and DNP but "may" sell DNP today.
On the equity side I'm more cash than anything. But as I've said
before I'm heavy on bonds, not recently most of my bonds were
bought some time ago. I have a few CDs paying more than the 30yr
rate that will come due this OCT..what to do when they mature is
a question but I don't need to worry with that yet.
