Nice combo, Pink.

Your reasons for shorting TAVA are entirely fundamental (the loan, etc.) and your reasons for posting here are entirely psychological (shakeout weak hands, stroke your ego, etc.). But you've forgotten one thing: there is a psychological side to Y2K valuations.

The world's press is stoking up the fires of hype on Y2K. Embedded systems, which most people never heard of a few months ago, are being frequently written about in the media. As the deadline draws near, the hype will be deafening.

Which leads to The Herd. When they react to the Hype and look for who may be profiting from Y2K the sector will surge. It will be an easy sell for the brokers. That includes TAVA.

At this price, at this time? TAVA is a killer short? Your up against the world's press and the brokerages. Not 2 elements I personally look for in a short. The panic over Y2K will be a far more powerful force than the trendyness of the Internet stocks. Need I say more about fundamentals?

Bond
