John, The other day William J. Baer, Director of the FTC's Bureau of Competition, held up a motherboard with a Pll cartridge and said this is it. So understand that "IT" is a piece of real estate, well more like a community., with zoning laws, building codes. etc. Well in a community you need a fire department so what you will have is little fire trucks running around on the motherboard, you know a little squirt here, a little squirt there.

So don't worry about heat the Great Endower will provide. No problem baby, no problem.

Just wondering what your opinion is of how Intel will cope with the faster speeds(more and more compact) of the up and coming chips?

Paul Engel would be a better person to ask, but my impression is the
best way is to reduce the size of the chip - I think there are already
some prototypes at 0.18 micron.
