Seems the benefits of a growing market place is having an effect on the topline of the internet companies

Reveune growth across the board

OK these guys have benefitted from a rapidly expanding market place. BUT I believe they must have bandwidth to have an opportunity to continue their growth...

I do truthly believe that the future of

The fiber equipment makers are depending on an end solution (Geezee how much equip will they sell for backbone equip if you pour 8mbs out the end of the network??)

Content providers are depending on an end solution.. The secret is combining video to web content. For the web to have any long term benefit to the content provider, they will need to find a way to penetrate more that 30% of the households in the US. One way to do that is to imbed video content in web pages..

Software people..How more spreadsheets can you sell???

somewhere in this new brave future, the end has to be answered. And somewhere in this new future, wall st will recognize the value of the companies that solve the problem of the end....

There is a relationship between ADSL and internet stocks. The internet stocks are currently in the same phase were the DSL stocks were 2 years ago. It was simply absurd that in 1996 Amati traded at $36 and Westell at $55. Now all the hype is gone and Westell is trading at its proper price of $10. I imagine that we will see a similar price deflation in several of the internet stocks. But I am no longer betting on it from the short side. Being short Amazon from $29 to $42 was bad enough.
