Tim, HVSF just did the 10 for 1 reverse split. It has not helped their share price.

Reverse splits are generally viewed as a bad indicator. I've seen many stocks do a reverse split, most recently MPRS, only to have it tank 50% in the following couple of weeks. If nothing can prop up the price on the low range, nothing will prop up the price if it's 10X the original amount. Float is meaningless if the stock has poor market perception. Right now, Vivus is a dog in the eyes of the market. Heck, if VVUS did a 10 for 1, I'd open up a short position for sure money on the way down.
