Motorola loses fortunes and drops a .5 which it gains back later. This stock beats estimates 2 Qs in a row and goes lower...than the price at the prior Q..

This is manipulation...the put /call ratio indicates upward pressure without earnings...

Sales grew 33%; Database license revenue grew 24% in Americas,comparing to the very strong Q4 last year.

Applications grew 58% for the year.

That is exactly my point. If anyone has insight as to the 'real' numbers for license revenues I'd appreciate the analysis. My concern is that it may be something other than geographical. If it is primarily the drop in asia, that is not good, but it certainly is not as bad as other things I could think of.

As for the folks touting the 'bar-b-que', come on! Financial analysis is more than comparing 2 numbers like 38 vs 41. If it was that easy, everyone would be a wall street analyst. Lets not muddle the picture with sidline cheerleading. All of the cheerleaders I remebmer in high school, were not the smartest folks...
