Jim - AMD is NOT a publicity-shy organization. If yield are up, shipments are up, new boxmakers were coming on, etc, they would shout it from the rooftops, particularly since the price of the shares has been tanking and the board has been singled out as the dopiest board of the decade. They may be in a quiet period now, before announcement of losses, but they would find a was to get the info out. Either there's a new-found information-publicity discipline at AMD or things ain't so great. I am betting on the second choice. You are betting on the first choice. Good luck.

Best regards,
Burt

McMannis - Re: "The first thing they will do is run out and tell all the Intelabees what their yields are? "

Of course not!

The first thing AMD will do is call up Private Investor Jim McMannis, give him all the secret GOOD yield information - so HE CAN tell the Intellabees!

greg nus made some outlandish yield statements about AMD several weeks back - since then AMD haas dropped from the low $20s to $17+.

Ask yourself - do you really believe those "yield dreams" you are having?
