Hi Peggy and neo P&Fers: Horizontal count method and stuff..
Whoohoo a lifetime member!!! Yippee! Hey Preston and Tommy we roped
her in!!
:-) <VBG>

OK, Horizontal count. You measure at the largest formation of the
base. With CSC it is easy to do since you don't have any triangle
formations and other prickly stuff. As long as you can count sideways
without interruption, this is your base.

59 X
58 X
57 X
56 X X X
55---X O X -- -X ------- --X O X ---
54 X O X O 3 X O X 5 X O 6 <--Here has interruptions, couldn't use
53 X O X O X O X O X O X O X O X <--Widest portion of base
52 X O X O X O X 4 X O X O X O X <--Also widest. Count 15.
51 X O O O X O O X O O <--Here has interruptions, couldn't use
50---X --------O X ----O ----* -------
49 X O X *
48 X O X *
47 X O <--Lowest portion
46 X *
45---X ------------* --------------Bot
So:
(Base count 15)(3) = 45
Lowest portion is 47
47 + 45 = 92

Let me know if I can help further.
