A tidbit... Sounds like the QCOM position is getting through to at least a few folks in Washington.

 Commerce Undersecretary for International Trade David Aaron yesterday released a study urging the government and business to form stronger partnerships to boost America's ability to compete in the global wireless marketplace. The study includes suggestions from the wireless industry, including that the federal government should encourage foreign governments to let the markets--not regulators--make technology decisions.
