I have to find a link fer pete explaining how the monetary inflation of de 60's ( to pay fer LBJ's war on poverty and Vietnam) led to price inflation of de 70's especially when Nixon closed de gold window to foreigners. Some people buy into de glib analysis which is spoon fed to ( communications major)journalists working fer widely read business publications by de street. The street has a vested interest in keeping de public misinformed fortunately there is SI to cut thru de hype.
