Joan, A lot will disappear. Look at the SRAM cos. and the graphic chip cos. They are nearly all vulnerable to extinction. Unfortunately, they are already priced that way. On SRAM, names like ISSI, ALSC, and, somewhat less likely, Cypress. On graphic chips, Cirrus, C-Cube, Diamond, etc are all endangered species. Some of these are well-managed cos., but they are in parts of the business the market has abandoned or combined with other products. Next cycle, we get the LSIs, VLSIs, Alteras, Xylinx, Linear and Maxims. But those will probably survive this one, though they will be limping and breathing heavily.
