In the parlance of Wall Street a HOLD is the same as SELL. Especially for stocks that have had a recent rapid growth stage. MONT reduced their 1998 EE to 1.75 and 1999 to 2.00. They have obviously advised their institutional clients to dump the shares even though their earnings estimates give TDFX a forward PE of ~10(1998) and ~8(1999). I expect that MONT will be reducing their earnings further in the months to come.
