The MTEI story is only new beginning to unfold. Today's news release is only a hint at what is ahead: "MTEI sees an opportunity to attain growth and increase shareholder value through strategic acquisitions of proven oil, gas and coal properties located in the Appalachian area and oil and gas properties in the Mid-Continental and Southwest regions and along the Texas and Louisiana Gulf Coast onshore and in shallow water up to 50-feet deep. MTEI presently owns 20,000 acres and controls the mineral rights in West Virginia that contain in excess of 2 billion cubic feet of gas and 10 million tons of coal. Additionally, the purchase of 8,000 acres has been completed and Stag Engineering is currently doing reserve studies to arrive at the present net asset value of these properties. I have highlighted some key phrases. Acquisitions of proven oil and gas in Texas and Lousiana = don't need to explore, rapid revenues once these wells are turned on. This is just a hint of the types of detailed announcements we may be seeing soon. 2B cubic feet of gas, 10 million tons of coal = already known, but these assets are not going away any time soon :-) Stag engineering = arguably the leading survey firm in the oil and gas business. Once they come out with their numbers, all second guessing will stop. And all of this for under 50 cents a share. What a country! Holding long and strong.
