But, was this the end of the story? Of course not! The impact of the millions made, then hundreds lost, was felt around the world.

The starving Indonesians, after benefitting from FBNA's gift of $37 Trillion (with a "T") gift, became prosperous and manned the first flight to Mars. Valuable scientific information was returned that proved the existence of life in outer space. And, surprisingly, the aliens spoke English. As a second language.

Wall Street speculators who profited from the wild claims of the Y2K fiasco, retired to Iowa and raised mini-skyscrapers of their own.

And everybody lived happily ever after.

Except for Muffy. She missed her dog, Shorty.

Will this be the last episode of Muffy's story? How fitting that it would be a palindrome ... #131. Probably not, though. The artistic authors of SI have no end to their creativity.

How DO they find the time? How are they getting compensated?
