" What price would you expect as a buyout offer ?".................. If you had a product that could produce $20 billion in revenues per YEAR, what would you be willing to sell it for? Would you ask for 5 years revenues, 3 years, 1 year, what would you ask for. Personally I wouldn't sell, however this is a public company and somebody like a Baxter can just come in and buy everything that the principals don't own. They can then put themselves on the board and make your life miserable until you sell. So what do you do, you arrive at a price, sell out, stay with the company as it's president and enjoy life. So we're back to the sales price. Any buyout will probably come long before final FDA approval for humans takes place. My guess would be closer to the completion of the animal trials, so you probably won't be able to command the same price as if you had full FDA approval. Let's be conservative and say you only get 1 years worth of revenues, that's $20 billion. $20 billion divided by 21 million shares outstanding equals $952 per share. You say no way.....too much. Okay let's try just 1 months worth of revenues. 1 months worth of revenues is $1.6 billion divided by 21 million shares that's $79.33 per share. Again you say no way. What do you want to try for 2 weeks worth of revenues that would be $39.66 per share for 2 weeks worth of a $20 billion dollar market. At some point don't you have to say, hey wait a minute your trying to steal the company from me. I don't know what the company would sell at right this minute. I believe that we are looking at the potential to have to deal with this question in the next 6 - 9 months ( this is when animal testing will be completed ). Each one of you has to ask yourself if you are willing to sell your stock at $1 - $2 - $3 or whatever when their is such a large potential for the stock in the next 6 - 9 months. I personally think it would be absolutely foolish to look at this stock for just a S.T. run up. You will probably make some good money S.T. but you would be missing the real opportunity here. What would you be willing to sell this technology for ? Think about it. Gwolf
