They must be having MAJOR problems in ramping up the speed of the GX. And that's what I do not like about this company now - nobody on the outside knows what's going on for 6 to 8 months now. How can anyone reasonable predict how long it is going to take for them to solve whatever problems they have if they do not tell us what those problems are?! Can't predict how long they can solve the problem means can't guess whether to buy the stock.

AB, where did it say that the 300MHz GXm was being delayed until 1999? I read "A 266MHz is due out later this summer, to be followed by the 300MHz". As I read this, the 300 MHz version should appear in the fall.

Anthony,

I guess Tobak thinks there is no demand for higher performing processors. Man, his head must be shoved up his ...

Adding L2 cache should help GX performance quite a bit. Wish they could add it sooner. I'm guessing 64K of L2, or increasing the L1 to 64K is the plan.

I'm thinking about bailing out of BAY and picking up some more NSM. Anyone have any ideas on what the next positive surprise might be and when it might happen?

Pravin.
