Hi Ken,

You need to got to "Output to MetaStock" and click on "Update existing directories" and give it the path to the directory(ies) or click on "define automatically updated directories" and set it up to automatically do it when you get your data every day. If you do this I would follow Richards lead and delete the old then output fresh stocks into those directories weekly.

Ken: Poirot says: You need to update Metastock compatible directories. Go to Start, Programs, QP 2.0, and then Output to Metastock. Then hit Update Existing Directories. You can update them automatically each evening by going to Define Automatically Updated Directories.

That's how you do it with Metastock compatible directories. Virtual directories, by the way, will be automatically updated, because they point directly to the updated database. But Metastock compatible directories contain the data as it was the day you created the directories -- you need to update them.
