Brian, the contract definitely would move the price, but this thing just went totally ballistic mid-day. Checkout the intraday:

quote.yahoo.com

Checked the options, and the Jun 30 calls traded about 724, but the really weird thing was the action in the July 30 puts - over 4,000 contracts. An the even weirder thing is that the open interest in those puts was only about 250. Which kinda makes you ask whether someone was opening to buy or opening to sell.

tradepbs.com

It looks like someone either thinks they know something or something other than rumors triggered some pretty intense buying interest right around 12:30. I haven't found anything.

Good day to be long.

Bad day to flip through some notes and see "ADCT watch for test of 5/27 low; buy if holds" and then realize that my "get more organized" initiative isn't quite up to par <g>

Good trading,

Tom
