That perception cuts you off from your spiritual needs and the source of True Life You are dead in your trespasses and in your spiritual eyes are blind to your reality of your own death. You at least acknowledge your incompleteness in the words "a lot" and that may be the seed of humility that God eventially grows into Eternal Life.
