OT - I always said I wouldn't live in NYC unless you paid me A LOT of money. And if I made that much money, I wouldn't live in NYC.

As a diplomat, one assignment I would fight to get out of would be working at the UN. Combine the UN and NYC and I would need serious hardship pay.

I'd much rather be going to my next job in Sarajevo in August.

Just one opinion. I know lots of people love NYC and wouldn't dream of living anywhere else.

The Port Authority area though still seedy has improved markedly since Mickey Mouse and Rudy decided to clean up and commercialize the area. Rudy may rule with an iron fist but I'd take his form of rule over the anarchy we had before him. Before he became mayor I would look behind me with every two steps I took, fearing for my wallets safety.
I'm sure going to miss Rudy when his terms up.
