Hi, Lee

Re: IBM ... continuation of previous convo

Shorting puts is an alternative options strategy for buying calls if one is bullish on a stock. IBM hit an intraday high of 114+ recently ... the trade of short 110p could have been closed out for profits, same with the trade of the short 115p ... no point in holding and subjecting profits to the vagaries of the market. With the long 115c one would still be waiting to be in the money.
