The number of floating shares is 6 mil. I am wondering what is the short interest for the current month.

While there may be a large percentage of shares held by institutions ans insiders, there simply hasn't been much urge to buy coming into the stock. In the absence of significant buying, it is easy for the stock to drift or fall on even modest selling volume. I'm not sure how much short interest remains in the stock. There may be enough disillusioned longs jumping ship to keep a lid on the price. Eventually, if the company is able to come through with its forecasted earnings, the stock should recover. But it may take actually seeing a positive earnings report to move it past the cloud of doubt and fear. Baird
