As an AMD investor, you'd better hope not.

Ali,

I was under impression that investors in technology
sector are somewhat more literate than an average
consumer:) Now I see I was wrong.

Yes Ali, you are wrong. Intel stock is one of the most widely held stocks. I am going to say it again, because you will probably misconstrue what I said. Intel stock is one of the most widely held stocks. Now did you really think all those stock holders are literate in the chip design issues you seem to relish.

Backed with the MS Windows compatibility, they can move independently in the right market. So far it seems that they can do
this quicker than Intel. Examples: sub-$1000 PC market,
3D-Now game accelation instructions, integrated MediaGX

No Ali, wrong again. Now this is getting humorous. Tell me, do you really believe Intel's lagging in the Sub-1000 PC market was due to technical expertise or was it due to profitablility consideration? Don't worry I will give you the answer. It was due to profitability considerations. Intel looks at everything in terms of profitability, and considers the long view.

The head has gone (with his communist-inspired
"culture" and discipline)

Leave Clinton and the FTC out of this. Seriously pressed for time, I will read the article and come back to this point later time.

So far a consumer appears to be even smarter than you...
I am a consumer. So you are saying I am smarter than myself?
OK.

sorry for the "instability".
No problem. I'm just glad to see it's treatable with medication.
