Dell closed below 85 (a little) on Friday.
What did that mean to all the call buyers and sellers?
I think:
Those who sold calls made money selling them and didnt have to give up their shares or buy shares to cover (if they sold naked calls).
What about call buyers?
I think:
They wasted their money buying the 85 calls.
Is this an accurate, although simple, analysis?
I'd like to make money with calls but want to be absolutely sure I know what I am doing first.
Do you look to see which is the more numerous call price strike bought and buy the one that seems reasonable and is the least bought?
