dave_s: Re: rebellion in developing countries.

Surely you jest! What country in their right mind would consider hostile action against a United States corporation with its own fleet of B-52's? None, I would bet.

However, there is the off chance that some crazed dictatorial leader in some Eastern country isn't in his right mind. In that case, we'll just call in all the favors we are owed by the surrounding countries. We have built up many such favors over the years. Just the fact that we supplied all our allies with FBN-TerroristGear should make any idiot think twice about attacking FBNA.

No, I'm sure we're safe from oppression. The only weakness that I can see is if I, personally, were somehow discharged from office. The immediate fight over who would take the President and CEO positions, and whether or not I still retained majority shareholder status ... well you see what I mean. Chaos!

But, the likelihood of that happening is basically nil. Who would have anything against me, or want me out of office? I'm just an all around nice guy.

Regards,

TED

>>How about really hostile takeover like rebellion of the petty dictatorships.. er, developing countries.. that FBNA has a substantial interest in?<<

The Y2K Assault Vehicle and the recently-announced FBNAutopilot are configured to thwart any hostile invasion by opposition factions. Of course, the FBNATerrorist Gear recently announced by TED also comes in handy in these crisis situations. The FBNY2K Intracontinental Ballistic Missile Project, which is currently in the final stage of highly confidential development and testing activities somewhere in the Indian Subcontinent, will, when it becomes operational, be a highly effective last ditch defense against well-trained guerrilla forces and those nasty MMs. FBNA also has on the drawing board its ultra top secret Dr. Strangeglove Project, which will enable FBNA to have first strike capability against those evil naked shorters.

FBNA--The arsenal of capitalism.
