What Otellini is talking about amounts to dismantling the PC so that you'll have separate pager/phone/pda/recorder etc. on your desktop. Uh huh. I was a strong supporter of the MediaGX concept until someone pointed out that because there are numerous subsystems on the same chip, all of them will have to evolve at the same rate as discrete components or the MediaGX will be left behind.
