Fred/Rex:
Looks like a close around $85 for tomorrow. The $85 options should expire worthless. Who knows what next week will bring.

BTW, did anyone see Michael Dell on CNN MoneyLine Tue night? I thought his rhetoric like "CPQ+DEC => competition with service companies like EDS => service companies not selling CPQ hardware but Dell's" wore thin. In fact, Lou Dobbs specifically said that in this business just because one company has own services doesn't stop another services company from selling their products (for example, IBM services and EDS still sells IBM hardware), and Michael could not counter that.

BWDIK.

Rex,
The jungle Amazon is better short than Dell. I shorted it yesterday. Shorting Amazon is safer than the other internet stocks. I don't like to short Dell any more, I still own a few long shares of it. Got in at 64, and I'll leave it alone.
Anyway since you shorted it, you may have to watch it like a hawk. One good news comes out this baby will burn you. If Intel announces good earning and reasonable outlook, you should kill your bears quickly.

PS. I had shorted Dell a year ago. It was quite a fun learning experience.
