The Camel That Shat in the River
(One of over 100 Aesop's Fables
never before translated into English,
until now)

A camel was crossing a swiftly flowing river.
He shat and immediately saw his own dung
floating in front of him, carried
by the rapidity of the current.

"What is that there?" he asked himself.
"That which was behind me
I now see pass in front of me."

-----

this applies to a situation where the rabble
and the idiots hold sway rather than the
eminent and the sensible.

sorry to see you go.

Well, I thought you were a little over the top but amusing and interesting none-the-less. And while I was hoping you'd respond to my last post with a comment along the lines of "Why, yes, we are doing a book and I think you will find it educational" instead you choose to attack me personally. You know, if you'd said that, I would have waited anxiously for the book to come out and bought it in hardcover. I am ready and willing to improve my understanding of the market and I looked to you as someone who could maybe teach me a thing or two.

The audacity of someone like this DragonFly to demand more context, when he obviously has never even read thestreet.com is, frankly, too much for me.

Your reaction would make sense if I was calling you an idiot or making any demands. You know, thruout this thread I've been quite civil. I've attempted to make requests based on the experience I had as a customer. I did not demand anything. I merely suggested an improvement.

Your participation in this thread has been completely content free and you have not bothered to even address, let alone respond to legitimate questions. Why is that?

I find it amusing that you have to claim that I "obviously has never even read thestreet.com" when I've posted pointers to articles written by you to illustrate my position. Obviously I have. It seems the person who isn't reading here is you-- you are not reading what I am writing, merely detecting that it isn't worship and responding with flames.

Well, congratulations Mr. Cramer. You have moved me from the "looking forward to learning from you" column to the "James Cramer is an arrogant, thin skinned, son-of-a-bitch who couldn't be bothered to teach anyone anything, and is only interested in mentally masturebating over as many airtime minutes and column inches as he possibly can."

No, the real audacity is you showing your face in public when, its clear that you sure can dish it out, but you cannot take it. I think you should stick a sandblaster where the sun doesn't shine and turn it on high.

Good Day!

Dragonfly

I have subscribed to "The Street". com since last year. I find it
saves me a lot of research time. I have always been willing to
disclose my name and my interests. To resort to name calling of
someone who is trying to give us his insight into a very complex
arena is merely displaying a lacking degree of maturity. I have
found Mr. Cramer to be blunt but honest and forthright. I dont
have to act on his dialogue, but I have found it confirms many of
my doubts about the market as a whole. He freely admits there is
a certain gamesmanship to this field of endeavor and as long as
there is a free market and big bucks involved, it will stay that way.
But I dont know any other way that I could sit at home with my computer and make hundreds of dollars with the poke of a key at age 70
Keep up the good work Jim....Gil

Cramer seems to like his wife, his kid, and cats; can't be all bad

if you don't have any money in his hedge fund, why worry about it?

if you don't like what he writes, don't read him

if he bothers you on cnbc, turn off the tv and put on some tunes instead

I agree with some of his stuff, disagree with some; but he gets me to think
and gives more than one smile a day with his style

for $6 a month his site is a cheap date

and when I caught his computer making an error a while back; I wrote him e-mail saying "JC, you screwed up, so send me a free TSC Tee"; got it a few days later

an I biased? ya, sure
but he is about 100 times more direct than most of the boring talking heads we have to listen to all damn day on the various financial shows

so he gets my vote

hey baby, leaving the sandbox is cool. You know me, you had some of my posts removed from the asnd thread, remember?
I don't doubt you have juice, i don't doubt that you are smart. comparing you to stern as far as money vs ethics.. i think stern is a genius, i don't really agree with what he does, but he is the one with the fat paychecks.
I have a web site towncars.com
i have a few mailboxes, because like you, i get some strange mail. Wanna know what i am about? Ask the guys on the flame thread.
most have my home phone number. there also is a fax number on my website. I am not hiding from anyone. While i certainly ain't publishing my social security and credit card numbers here, (or my merrill lynch accounts) anyone with a little net savvy can contact me.
Also the aipn thread, long time mebers of the creaf and "chart" threads.
I am not looking to fight with you, it is apparent that you have less time to discuss things than i do. I find you funny. Unfortunately for me I see a lot of what you say on TV inline with my own thought. We differ in that I choose not to sell out.
good luck..
taxi something or other.
you got white shoes i have a blue collar
