Richard..you shouldn't back me in a corner.. :>
1. I dont view Washington as an enemy
2. I have deep respect for Rubin and for all of the world's sake I
do hope he is successful in his grand plan(I am one of the few that
don't think he is arrogant or has ego problems, but is doing the best
he can)
3. I don't think Washington would mind if we owned gold..in case
down the road dollar is last to drop..at least its citizens will
hold more precious metals at these prices..
4. if those had faith in Rubin before..we would have all
be very very well rewarded
anyways have been liking abx's action...
ps.. I don't seem to know how to win friends :<
pss with this rotational global market..who knows what will happen
still very concerned about year2000 ..hope it is a nonevent but I
don't think so..at least for now
ps. I can't believe how people are still pushing bonds although utility index is still holding up
ps. that tobacco bill..still can't understand why the opposing side
just doesn't say raise the legal age for buying cigarettes nation
wide and levy heavy fines for sellers to minors..
if the bill doesn't get passed..wonder where the government will look
for that huge tax inflow that they appear to need?
